Cannot display to external monitor
When you connect an external monitor to your laptop, you’ll first need to toggle function keys to control how you send the video to the external monitor. The most common options are: Computer only (no display shown on the external monitor), duplicate (the external monitor matches what is shown on the laptop LCD screen), extend (the external monitor extends the desktop display), or projector only (the video display is only on the external monitor and not on the laptop LCD screen).
To force the video onto the external monitor is to power off the laptop, connect the external display, and then power on the laptop. The laptop default is to automatically use the external display.
Touchscreen non-responsive
If the touchscreen on your mobile device goes completely black or is unresponsive to input, then you may need to perform a reset to regain control of the mobile device.
On Apple iOS devices you’d press the power button and slide to power off the device. Press the power button again to power it back on. To perform a hard reset, hold down the power button and either the Home or volume button (depending on the model) for 10 seconds.
On Android devices, the reset process varies. In some devices you power off the device, remove the battery, place the battery back in, and restart the device. Other devices you can hold down the power button and volume down button to restart. Depending on the model of Android device, there may be different key combinations to perform a reset.
Apps not loading
Apps on mobile devices may also experience issue such as they are slow to load or have slow performance. To troubleshoot, you can stop the app and restart.
On iOS devices, double tap the home button and slide the app up and away.
On Android devices go to Settings/Apps. Then select the problematic app. Then do a force stop.
You can also try restarting the mobile device with either a hard or soft reset.
Another action to try is to update the app so that you are running the latest version.
