Sometimes your computer may be working pefectly normal but intermittently you may have problems with a component. Sometimes the system works and sometimes it doesn’t.
Intermittent device failure may be caused by a bad adapter card installation. Check and reseat as necessary. Make sure to secure the adapter using all the screws so that it is not loose.
Bad hardware can also cause intermittent device failure. Check the connections. Heat and vibration can cause issues.
If the device experiences intermittent power loss and seems to randomly shut down, it could be due to the device overheating. It could also be because certain tasks performed on the device require higher power draw which causes the device to shut down due to insufficient power.
