Many network connected printers are able to manage print jobs inside of the printer itself. This means that they have an integrated print server. With an integrated print server, you’re sending all of your print jobs directly to the printer. Jobs are queued internally on the printer. Jobs are managed on the printer itself. For example if you need to delete a print job or change a priority of the print job, you’ll need to change this on the printer. You can manage the printer from the front panel of the printer or there may be a web based front end that allows you to connect to the printer with your browser. There could also be a client utility that you install on a computer to manage the printer.
