Quality of Service (QoS) may be a feature provided in the SOHO router. With QoS you can change the priority of your traffic. For example, you can set voice data as a high priority. Prioritizationg can be made based on applications, ports, or MAC addressses. Take caution in setting QoS because you could accidentally cause application to slow down.
