When setting up a small office/home office, you’ll first want to see what type of service is available in your area. Check your desired Internet Service Providers to see what types of service are available for your SOHO location.
A cable or DSL network most likely will require a modem and a router to provide internet connection for your SOHO. Modems are usually pre-configured by the ISP or your ISP will send a technician to configure it for you.
Once, your cable/DSL modem and router are set up, the next logical step would be to configure your Access point settings.
