The Credential Manager is a centralized management of web and Windows credentials. You may notice that your web browser can save your username and password credentials. This is the work of the Credential Manager. The Credential Manager helps you manage the credentials you use for the different websites.
The Credential Manager also helps you to manage the local credentials you’re using, which are usually certificates stored on your computer.
The Credential Manager is an applet in the Control Panel.
