Event Viewer can be found in the Administrative Tools. The Event Viewer is responsible for logging errors, warning, and other events that occur in Windows. Windows Event Viewer should be one of the first places to check if a user had a problem with their computer and said that a error message appeared but they couldn’t remember what it said.
The Event Viewer is categorized by Application, Security, Setup, and System. Events are also categorized by priority: Information, Warning, Error, Critical, Successful Audit, Failure Audit.
