Mini PCIe has replaced Mini PCI. Mini PCIe has a 64 bit data bus, which is faster than the 32 data bus of Mini PCI. A mini PCIe card is also smaller, with dimensions of 30 mm x 26.8mm. It has a 52 pin edge connector.
Mini PCIe is common on laptop motherboards and are used for internal expansion cards.
